The Wedgwood Cake Bake: This Saturday evening down at the pool!

We have been hyping up the cake bake these past few weeks, but I am guessing some of you all are still wondering what it is all about. So here is a little more information about what it is and how it goes.

The Wedgwood Cake Bake is long standing tradition that is getting back up and running this year after a few years off. It is a great event with fun for the whole family. Siblings, friends and sometimes whole families work together to bake and decorate cakes according to a predetermined theme.

This year’s theme: Wedgwood Spirit

Once all the cakes have arrived, we will have a viewing period for everyone to admire the hard work that was put into the creative cake designs. Meanwhile the judges (our wonderful Wedgwood lifeguards) select the best designs in each grouping. Then, we serve the cake with ice cream and have an Almost Anything Goes (inflatables in the pool) until 9:00PM.

Viewing and Judging: 7:00-7:30 PM
Serving and Eating: 7:30 PM
Almost Anything Goes: 7:00-9:00 PM
