Swim Team Concessions Manager

Wedgwood Pool is currently looking to hire a Concessions Manager to help feed and water our swimmers, families and guests during home swim meets.

Concessions are vital to our swim team as the money we make is used to help pay our coaches and our swim meets just wouldn’t be the same without food and drinks for the attendees. The position entails menu planning, creating a shopping list, coordinating food delivery and prep, and supervising and coordinating volunteers before, during, and after the meet for prep, sales, and clean-up. We anticipate the time commitment to be between 10 – 15 hours per meet. The ideal candidate would be highly organized, able to multitask and customer-service-oriented.  Must obtain a food handlers permit. There will be a 1-year training period under the current Concessions Manager.

Concessions will be required at 5 home swim meets and an End of the Season Celebration this summer 6/23, 6/25, 6/30, 7/14, 7/21, and 8/05.

As a staff member of the Wedgwood Pool, the Concessions Manager will be offered the opportunity to purchase a staff membership for the summer. Staff memberships are the same price as a regular membership and include full use of the pool for staff and family, including swim team, etc., but are only for the summer of employment and do not include ownership voting rights or a requirement to pay the buy-in.
